Homeowners at Harbour Club Apartments — the prominent residential development situated within Sovereign Harbour — are relieved to have received approval for essential fire safety works at the property.

Although a contractor and professional team had been in place for some time, the project, which relates to removal and replacement of flammable insulation beneath the render, had been under review with the Building Safety Regulator for several months.

Wildheart secure funding for essential fire safety works

Managing agents, Wildheart Residential Management, completed a successful application to Homes England. As a result, the total cost of works will be fully funded by their Cladding Safety Scheme.

The main contractor, AP Facades, anticipates mobilising on site in September to commence construction works. The project is expected to span approximately 12 months, during which time a comprehensive programme of façade installation and associated activities will be carried out. AP Facades will work closely with all stakeholders to ensure the project progresses smoothly and in line with the agreed timeline.

This represents a significant milestone under the Building Safety Act and highlights Wildheart’s continued commitment to resident safety, regulatory compliance, and the highest standards of property management.
